Blackboard Learn President Set for ARBUG 2010 Keynote |

The Arkansas Blackboard Users Group, also known as ARBUG, has confirmed Ray Henderson, President of Blackboard Learn, as the keynote speaker for this year's conference. As President of Blackboard's teaching and learning division, Ray oversees product development, client success and support as well as the global services and managed hosting functions. Many of you may know Ray from his work at Pearson where he developed Companion Websites™, the first major brand of internet products in higher education. He went on to lead product development at eCollege®, an early pioneer in the learning management system arena. Prior to joining Blackboard in 2009, Ray led ANGEL Learning's product strategy, product development and go-to-market efforts and served as president for digital product development at Pearson Education. Ray joined Blackboard after last year’s merger of Blackboard and ANGEL Learning. On a personal note, I believe Ray has made great strides in improving the Blackboard products currently in the market and those coming in the future and has great insight in the vision of online education.
