The Arkansas Blackboard Users Group announces the opening of proposal submissions for the upcoming Arkansas Blackboard Conference, March 10 – 12th in North Little Rock. This year’s conference theme is “Better Together: Students. Teachers. Learning.” “It sums up not only what we believe ARBUG is about, improving the ways we teach online,” said Terry Patterson, President of ARBUG, “but it also comments on the different platforms that are now a part of Blackboard. Each one has their own unique qualities which, when shared, can help all of us improve our online courses.” The conference welcomes presentations on any topic that deals with improving the online learning experience. Whether it’s improving the way your Blackboard (Learn, Academic, Vista, CE, or Angel) system operates or how you are using technology or concepts to teach your class, you can share them with your colleagues at the Arkansas Blackboard Users Group Conference. Submitting a proposal is easy. Go to http://www.arbug.org/conference/arbug10-submission-form and complete the proposal submission form. If there are co-presenters or you require additional technology besides a projector and computer, please mention that in the "Additional Information or Technical Requirements" field. We look forward to your proposals, insight, and being part of what makes ARBUG great! |
